Creating new habits and lasting change in our lives can be a struggle, especially when faced with the challenges of not feeling at home in our own bodies. Our core beliefs about ourselves and our lives impact our ability to create lasting change. Explore what beliefs you hold about yourself that stop you from living your life fully and begin to shift your beliefs in a way that will support you. Join me for a morning of exploring self through yoga & writing in a group setting that offers a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. Whether you practice yoga regularly or you are a beginner, here’s what you can expect during this workshop:
-Learn classical sun salutations
-Cultivate a stronger, healthier connection with your physical body – Feel at home in your body
-Explore what beliefs you hold about yourself that stop you from living your life fully and how to start shifting those beliefs.
-Practice in a group setting with other individuals that have dealt with or are dealing with self-image issues, body image issues, eating disorders, and who are of all shapes, sizes, genders, & backgrounds.
Care for yourself through the healing practice of yoga. Open to all levels. Beginners are encouraged to join!

Welcome the winter with an all levels donation yoga class to benefit Spectrum Youth and Family Services at Mtn Seasons Woodfired in Jeffersonville VT! Join class free of charge with the donation of 1 or more gently used winter items. We are collecting jackets, pants, sweaters, hats, gloves, mittens, socks (NEW), and scarves. Do something healthy for yourself, keep your community warm, and enjoy the new beautiful space at Mtn Seasons!

Yoga for Winter Enthusiasts
November 4- December 9, 2014 Tuesdays, 7:30-8:45 pm $70 for 6 week series or Drop-in for $14 Register Here Enhance your outdoor winter experience through Yoga. This six week series offers pre-season and in-season classes to build strength, flexibility, and endurance, along with techniques to aid faster muscle recovery and avoid common injuries. In this workshop, we will explore techniques to begin shifting self-perception, cultivate compassion, and enhance self care. All bodies are welcome and supported in this process of unraveling old thoughts and belief patterns. Move from who you think you should be and begin the subtle process of transformation into who you truly are. Together we will practice gentle yoga poses, powerful breathing exercises, creative visualization through guided imagery, hands-on take home healing techniques, and a transformational Savasana. Bring your yoga mat, a journal and your beautiful YOU! Gaby will be joined by fellow Hathavidya teacher and bodyworker Jeanne Korn and together, co-teach this workshop. |

For those who have taken Buddha Body in the past, this 6 week series will help you take things up a notch. You’ve learned basic poses that are gentle, how to sit comfortably with props, the limbs of yoga, what it means to honor your body, breath, & yourself – Now we’ll add a little challenge! We will explore standing poses, sun salutations, & poses that ignite your core muscles – All in a way that is accessible, continuing to utilize props, walls, and other modifications.
Buddha Body II is about striking a balance between relaxation & working hard, offering you a class with moderate physical activity. Class will be balanced like the Yin and the Yang – Gentle movement to compliment & support moderate active movement. Expect to connect with your own strength while practicing yoga in an environment that is safe, nonjudgmental, and addresses your needs. This class is appropriate for beginner Buddha Bodies who are willing to learn on the fly.

Consistent practice of pranayama and mantra will transform you. Pranayama is the directing of your body’s energy through the breath. Mantra is repetition of Sanskrit words or phrases and can be used to go into deeper states of meditation and relaxation. These subtle practices balance the energy throughout the body systems. Each session will include classical sun salutations, pranayama, mantra repetition, chanting, and relaxation. This class is for all levels of yoga practitioners though some experience will be very helpful.

There’s a misconception that Yoga is for a specific body type and gender – Gaby is here to show you that Yoga truly is for every body. Have fear, self-doubt, or judgment stopped you from living fully? Have you been hesitant to attend class because of your body shape or doubt in your ability to practice poses the “right” way? Then Buddha Body Yoga is for you. In this workshop you can expect to learn to sit comfortably and relax in gentle poses,practice Yoga in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment, learn the difference between goal-setting and intention setting, start identifying what stands in your way of living fully, and learn the basics of manifesting your intention. Open to all genders and all levels. Beginners are welcome! Please bring a journal.

This series will guide you in strengthening, opening, and balancing your body. We will explore the roles of the core, hips, feet, and breath in cultivating strength and stability both on the yoga mat and on the mountain. All are welcome, especially beginners!
