Massage Therapy
Bodywork & massage are part of leading a healthy lifestyle. My mission is for clients to see massage therapy as part of their personal health and well-being program, not just a luxury. I offer this service to enhance how you feel and move through the world.
I offer integrative therapeutic massage, blending styles like Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and stretching. Other modalities I offer are pre & post natal, fire cupping, Reiki, & sound therapy with Tibetan singing bowls. Your session is customized to your individual needs, whether you're working through a chronic pain pattern, recovering from surgery or injury, or are simply in need of deep relaxation or rejuvenation. Your session will include a combination of techniques to deliver the desired results. When working with chronic pain or injuries, multiple sessions are recommended to achieve effective therapeutic results that support new patterns of movement and breathing.
I work with clients who are ready to create change and take an active role in their healing path, meaning that during sessions I ask you to get involved by breathing into certain areas or moving your body to facilitate a shift. I find this style of work to be most effective - It empowers you, the client, to deepen your awareness and connection to your body and sensations, an integral part of creating change within. Happy to team with your health care provider for guidance (PT, Dr, Chiro, etc) with your permission. I am now integrating Somatic Experience® with bodywork and my practice focuses on nervous system healing. I will also offer solo SE sessions without bodywork - email me if you'd like to learn more.
Located at Riverview Wellness, 321 Main St, Suite B, Winooski, VT, on the second floor above Walgreens - Plenty of parking! Read my covid updates and policies. Please notify me of changes in your health. Your current & past health history are relevant when receiving massage therapy. Massage works with and can effect change in all the systems of the body. Sharing your health history allows me to better serve you.
