Covid updates and Policies
I work with a variety of clients, some who are elderly, immunocompromised, or managing a major diagnosis. In an effort to keep myself and clients as safe as possible, I am following the safety guidelines from the state of Vermont and appreciate your patience as I navigate changing circumstances. Open and honest communication is key and thank you for working with me through these challenging times.
What to Expect:
-A health screening is required within 24hrs of your session. Fill out the covid questionnaire before each session. Contact me via text or phone if you answer yes to any questions. I will take your body temp with a no-contact forehead thermometer when you arrive. If your temperature is over 100 degrees, we will reschedule. If you are a regular client, fill out the form once and then review the questions for following appointments - contact me if you answer yes to any questions.
-Our waiting room is closed for the time being. Please text or call 860-268-4585 when you arrive in the parking lot or outside the building and I will let you know when to come upstairs - This creates less contact between clients. If you need to use the waiting room, feel free to ask and I will accommodate when I can. We hope to begin using the waiting room in the near future.
-Masks are required to enter the building and while face-up. When face-down, masks are optional - the face cradle is draped with a pillowcase.
-Wash your hands when you enter our suite. Bathrooms are on the left and hand sanitizer is on the right as you enter the suite.
-I closely monitor my health. If I am not well I will reschedule appointments accordingly.
-All frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected and sanitized between sessions with EPA approved cleaning supplies. This includes bathrooms, door handles, jewelry dish, etc. My table and face cradle have a hospital-grade cover on them, allowing me to use stronger disinfectants that kill covid and other viruses.
-Fresh air is circulated through the office between sessions with an open window and fan. A fan circulates air throughout your session. The building's HVAC system has additional UV light filters.
-I can accept all forms of payment (cash, check, venmo @gabygyoga, visa, MC). Cashless transactions are preferred by the state of VT. I encourage you to schedule through my website and prepay for your appointment when possible. My credit card reader is slow - thank you in advance for your patience!
-Bring a refillable water bottle to minimize surfaces touched and plastic waste. Bottled water is available if you forget and hydration is important post-massage. It facilitates cleansing and healing of the cells. Bringing a refillable bottle also reduces landfill waste.
